About Us
The Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) is the oldest animal welfare organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Our goal is to improve the lives of pets and the people who love them. HSNT operates five pet adoption centers in North Texas, including the Kaufman County Pet Adoption Center, as well as a 33-acre equine and livestock ranch in Johnson County. In 2022, HSNT touched the lives of more than 18,800 pets with a live-release rate of 97%.
