Maintenance Facilities Technician
The Facilities Technician performs maintenance and repairs to Bank facilities. Primary duties:
- Maintains, services, and conducts minor maintenance and repairs to Bank buildings, equipment and facilities to ensure minimal equipment or facility disruption.
- Performs a variety of semi-skilled duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, or plastering.
- Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassembles equipment.
- May work with outside vendors to resolve building and equipment issues.
- Records maintenance and repair work performed.
- May orders parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtains them from storerooms
- Acts, in an emergency, as a substitute courier in the event additional personnel is needed to complete the timely delivery of courier services.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience relative experience.
- Must hold a valid TX driver’s license.
- High School diploma or GED.
Skills:
- Facilities management experience; electrical background/knowledge; HVAC background/knowledge preferred.
- Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required.
- Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week, after hours services to perform the essential functions of the position and may be required to work in extreme heat, extreme cold, noise, and exposed to sun.
