Kaufman County Day in Austin
February 17 & 18, 2025 (Monday & Tuesday)
Sponsored by Crandall, Forney, Kaufman, Kemp, Mabank, Mesquite and Terrell Chamber of Commerce, Cities, Economic Development Corporations and School Districts
Your opportunity to visit Austin, spend time networking with other Kaufman County residents, speak with our Representative and Senator, meet with agencies, and more!
The event starts Monday with a reception from 5:00-7:00 pm, followed by a group dinner. On Tuesday morning we will have a Legislative Breakfast with speakers, followed by a group photo at the Capital, recognition in the House and Senate, and taking gifts to the Legislators. Lunch will be on your own and we will finish the day with an ice cream social (tent) to thank our legislators and their staff as well as share our Legislative Agenda. We should be finished by 4:00 pm on Tuesday.
