Medication Assisted Treatment Nurse- Terrell TX, Greenville TX
Position will work under the supervision of Lakes Medical Director and may be responsible for administering medication, measuring vital signs, performing medical assessments, obtaining blood or urine samples and providing patient and staff education. The Registered Nurse will be part of a team that provides respectful, supportive and non-judgmental environment for individuals in substance use disorder services. The Medication Assisted Treatment Nurse (MAT) will not have supervisory duties.
Position will serve in Lakes MH Clinics located in Terrell, Rockwall and may serve the Assertive Community Treatment Team and/or Medication Assisted Treatment Team clients. Position requires the ability to document accurately in electronic medical records. Function as a member of the clinical treatment team, participates in quality assurance activities and acts as a liaison with other community providers.
Exempt Position-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8-5 Flex

Minimum Qualifications: Position requires a current Texas Registered Nurse license. Candidate must be able to present in a training environment, communicate effectively with staff and clients, work effectively in a fast-paced work setting with the ability to plan, implement and prioritize assignments, problem solve and assess individual needs. Knowledge of substance use disorders, their treatment modalities and medications as well as knowledge of community mental health is required. Must have electronic health record experience and proficient computer, skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have a valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record, as well as personal automobile liability insurance as required by the state of Texas. Requires current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in substance use disorder services and/or Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred. Prefer bilingual skills to include Spanish/English.
