Description
The Conversations with... (luncheon) program returns with a stirring story of 9/11. Lt. Col. Everett DeWolfe will relate the events of 9/11/2001 from the perspective of the flight deck of Air Force One. The crew had to deal with number of challenges, among them being told that a terrorist announced that the presidential aircraft was the next target, avoiding a protentional hostile airliner, being intercepted by Air Force Fighter, the fighters engaging an unidentified threat aircraft and nearly constant rerouting to keep the president safe yet engaged.
Everett is a retired Air Force Officer who spent 28 years in the Air Force with twelve of them being on the crew of Air Force One. He earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and the rating Master Navigator.
